About Us
Our product is a collaboration of two couples that are great friends that love to cook, entertain, and cater. We are collectively, Audrey & Lawrence Gibbs and Benita & James Primus Jr.
Many of the events we would host, would be gatherings held outside. Like most people, we were accustomed to setting up food stations on tables using both small and large aluminum pans, to hold the food and serve from. Also like most, we would cover the pans with aluminum foil or aluminum lids. When using both these methods, it was always necessary to constantly re-cover the pans with additional foil, and fight off bugs, wind, etc. Not to mention, the serving table would also look disheveled.
At one of our many gatherings, Audrey was manning the food table, fanning away bugs and replacing loose foil as people served themselves. James walked up and made a statement saying wouldn’t it be great if there was a way to have a cover that could easily be served out of, without replacing foil? By that time Benita walked up, and the three had intense, back and forth conversation regarding the idea, and making suggestions regarding the design and functionality. It was quickly realized that the team was on to something.
Months later, it was decided to pitch the idea to a company that helped consumers take their ideas to the market.
Once the idea was deemed by professionals to be a highly useful product, as couples, Pribbs 29:11, LLC was launched to produce the two products. Pribbs is a combination off our last names, and 29:11 represents our favorite scripture:
Jeremiah 29:11 – "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
